Methodology: impacts of part time work on University studies

In Week 5 each member of the group must submit group’s methodology and research methods (including theoretical framework, research design and data collection method) to Turnitin on BB.

Each group must describe the research method(ology) to be used (for instance case study; survey; experiment,…), justifying its relevance for the research question, identifying how the chosen methodology will ensure reliability and validity and explaining the techniques employed to analyze secondary and/or primary data. For all qualitative and quantitative or mixed methods approaches, it will include detailed information of the research methods to be undertaken: this will normally include precise definition of target population; data requirements; and research instruments (e.g. secondary data; primary data via questionnaires, focus group discussion, observations etc); for primary data collection: sampling (sampling frame, sample size, sampling procedure and response rates).

Feedback on the work submitted will be provided to the group’s coordinator and a general feedback will be provided in class in the week following your submission. You may modify your work in the light of feedback you receive in order to improve your subsequent performance.
