Part One 1000words: Thesis statement comparing moral and ethical values with Christian medieval worldview. parenthetical citations and a corresponding Works Cite list. Paper must be structured. Each paragraph or two should address a different aspect of your argument. Paragraphs should begin with a sentence that points the reader back to your thesis statement. When using quoted material be sure to signal (introduce), integrate, and explain it.

Do the passages from Dante's Divine Comedy reflect the Christian medieval worldview, Dante's personal worldview, or both? How? Analysis and interpretation of primary text(passages) Cite directly from passages with examples.

Part Two 500words: design your own inferno ala Dante, explaining it in several well-constructed paragraphs. What levels would your Inferno include? What sins would correspond to each level. What contemporary figures would you place in each? (Isis/Syria-Iraq conflict??)
